Honka
Doors HIT Exterior Doors
Honka HIT exterior doors are made of durable
Finnish pine with tight (dense) annual rings. These stylish doors
keep your house warm! The HIT door is 2 1/4” thick, and
has 6 to 8 ply multiple lamination stiles which add more strength,
more resistance to warping, and increased
energy efficiency than standard
exterior doors. The HIT door also has double weather stripping
to reduce air infiltration. Every Honka door package includes all
trim,
hardware, and t-battens. A variety of door designs are available
from full panel (no glass) to
8 glass panel. Diagonal and vertical wood panel configurations
can be provided. Side glass panels, double doors (French doors),
and transom windows are also available as options.
KUP (exterior), Terrace & VOP (interior)
DKT (single door) and DKST (double door)
terrace doors are side hung and open inward. The sliding door
may also be tilted into a ventilation position from the top.
The DKT
and PSK terrace doors work simultaneously as windows and as versatile
exits to terraces and balconies. Since the handle operation is
only available on the inside, they are not suitable as entrances.
DKT terrace doors are available fully-glazed or with stylish
insulated lower wooden panels. The thresholds of both doors are
equipped with a high “weather sill”.
PSK terrace doors are designed with a space
saving top mount. The sliding door shifts in front of the solid
half, or it can be tilted into a ventilation position from the
top.
The KUP exterior door is a less expensive option
typically used in cabins, and also as side doors. It is an insulated
door made from Finnish polar pine, and is both stylish and durable.
The door package includes trim, hardware,
and t-battens.
Honka VOP and PVO interior doors are made with
durable Finnish polar pine providing a solid and beautiful accent
to your log home.
The doors have multiple laminated raised panels and stiles, and
are available in solid wood or with glass panels. The door packages
include trim, hardware, and necessary t-battens. Thresholds and
weather stripping can also be provided for additional soundproofing. |
