walls in a variety of sizes in both round and rectangular
configurations.
All Honka Log wall systems include:
- Advanced computer controlled kiln drying (30-72
days to approximately 13-15%)
- All logs are precision-milled in a CNC machining
operation maximizing the surface point contact
while minimizing warping, twisiting, and checking
- All logs are
pre-cut, numbered, pre-drilled and
arrive at your site along with complete log wall
diagrams, ready for assembly. No chinking is required
due to the tightness of the logs’ fit.
- Special grooving
for window & door battens
- Through bolts for log corners,
beams, etc. (where necessary)
- Pre-drilling for electrical runs
- Pre-cut grooving system for
interior partition wall framing
- Round log profiles include flat
forming around windows, doors and for electrical plugs and
switches
- Unique wooden dowel system keeps logs straight while allowing
for settling
- Special polypropylene and “Pro
Tech” sealing strips between logs
